I've just wrapped up my fifth week of training, putting me at 290 miles so far. I've racked up 834 so far this year, which means a third of my miles are from just the last five weeks. Still very many miles to go. I'm up to 37 miles on the bike in a single ride, on my way to 60.
I started endurance events as a race walker and have been working up to increasing amounts of running for the last two years. I started with 30 seconds, and I'm now up to five miles! This was the view on today's run.

I've also been trying to fuel my training with healthy food. This week's favorite was the Athlete Food House Salad, pictured below.
