Good news: my left foot has no stress fractures. Bad news: there isn't enough time left to get to marathon strength. Therefore, I've decided to defer my entry to the Chicago Marathon to next year.
I plan to continue with the rest of my races for the year, as well as therapy until my foot is completely healed. On Friday I was permitted to do a mile on the treadmill. While slow, short, and frustrating, it felt good to be moving again.
